This map was created using the Google Spreadsheet Mapper 2.0 - allowing to manage the place markers in a Google Spreadsheet, publishing the KML data and displaying in Google Maps, then embedding on this page. Easily done, easily maintained. And plenty of room for improvement (e.g. the layout of the info bubbles).
